Construction and Maintenance Support for Kazakhstan.
Techlift have being providing support to the Tengizchevroil (TCO) FGP-WPMP project in Kazakhstan for nearly six years now. This is currently one of the world’s largest construction projects at over 36.8 billion US Dollars as TCO looks to expand its existing Tengiz facilities (photograph) and increase its crude oil production capacity by approximately 12 million tonnes per year.
Our involvement started at the FEED stage of the project, providing input into developing the methodology for transporting and stacking the numerous multi-thousand tonne process modules on site. We continue to review the heavy lift and transport contractor’s plans and documentation during the construction phase of the project.
We are also involved in assessing the numerous module and plant layouts for future shutdown and maintenance activities. This includes mechanical handling requirements and mobile crane accessibility across the new facilities.
